Are you? What you’ll do.
Interpretation of system requirements and ability to decompose and flow them down into hardware requirements Drawing System Diagrams & Electrical schematics Designing PCB layouts Managing BOM Managing prototype builds either built locally or through overseas contractors Enable product compliance through EMC/Radio testing and Electrical Safety testing Solve any EMC and Electrical Safety issues during the development phase of a project Assist with Production Support, improving yields and improving manufacturability through design improvements Assist Customer Support with fault finding, reporting technical issues to project leaders Design digital communication busses (Ethernet, RS-485, USB, SPI, I2C, etc.) Design and develop product prototypes, perform evaluation and involvement in final design sign-off and specification for mass production Prepare appropriate technical documentation Work cross functionally with various teams across the business, including Mechanical and Software Engineering teams Who you are.
University degree Electronics and Computer Systems Enginneer 4+ years of experience in hardware development and embedded software Experience with EAGLE A person with Knowledge of Digital & Analog Electronic Designs and Principles A person with experience using electronic test equipment such as Bench Power Supplies, Oscilloscopes & Multimeters A person with some soldering experience Experience in embedded software development in C is a must Understanding of the process for planning, creating, and deploying electronic products Good team work skills, strategy and planning skills What can you expect from us.
