Title and Summary D&S Practices Director Overview.
The Data & Services team is a key differentiator for Mastercard, providing the cutting-edge services that help our customers grow.
Focused on thinking big and scaling fast around the globe, this agile team is responsible for end-to-end solutions for a diverse global customer base, including issuers, acquirers, and merchants.
Centered on data-driven technologies and innovation, these services include payments-focused consulting, loyalty and marketing programs, business Test & Learn experimentation, and data-driven information and risk management services.
We’re looking for an individual with a growth mindset to join an established, yet evolving, central working team.
This role’s primary responsibility will be to drive the activities that enable and strengthen the global D&S Practices.
D&S Practices are commercially-oriented, cross-functional teams which create centers of expertise, thought leadership, knowledge management, and training for each topic and customer segment served by our suite of D&S products.
With over participants, Practices are a thriving network of subject matter experts, contributors, and affiliates.
The Role.
• Develops and executes on the annual Practice calendar including Objective & Key Result (OKR) setting & reporting, registration, internal surveys, and communications • Coordinates with D&S executives to appoint global leadership roles • Conducts analysis of Practice effectiveness, including adoption of key approaches & systems, activities conducted, and engagement data from both Practice leaders and registrants • Creates material for Steering Committee updates/meetings, Practice lead meetings, internal communications, and other channels to showcase outcomes and commercial impact created by all Practices • Connects with Regional Advisors Leadership to align on localized agenda needs • Hosts sharing sessions for defined Practice roles to share effective enablement approaches and materials • Provides support to Practice leads, particularly on systems, logistics, and suggestions on effective approaches from other teams • Consolidates Practice communications and maintains the central calendar; ensuring consistency in approach and usage of knowledge management systems • Prompts recognition activities particularly during performance and career review periods • Proactively hosts onboarding sessions for new global and regional leads • Monitors adoption tracking and feedback collection for supporting dashboards and content libraries • Solicits feedback on, develops, and proposes ways to improve the centralized activities and/or structures currently in place for continuous improvement to bring greater success to the business and our customers All About You.
• Passionate about knowledge sharing at scale • Experience in large-scale, cross functional initiatives; brings a collaborative approach • Familiarity with Mastercard Data & Services business preferred • Strong sense of ownership with attention to detail and focus on data integrity and compliance • Enjoys structuring problems and creating insights from disparate data sets • Experience in evaluating and streamlining business processes • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities and ambiguity; you enjoy figuring out what needs to be done and then making it happen • Excellent communication (written, oral and presentation) and interpersonal skills; able to tailor information for audiences at different levels of seniority and within different functions • Brings a client-centric mindset and able to empathize with various audiences • Understanding of OKR methodology preferred • Microsoft Office skillset required, with experience in organizing data to extract insights and stories Corporate Security Responsibility All activities involving access to Mastercard assets, information, and networks comes with an inherent risk to the organization and, therefore, it is expected that every person working for, or on behalf of, Mastercard is responsible for information security and must.
