As a Data Engineer Trainee, you will become a part of an agile team of data specialists taking care of massive amounts of data and groundbreaking technologies.
Your work will be driving and empowering efficient and successful decentralized domain data ownership and data consumption.
You will be working closely with a Senior Data Engineer and help develop a Data Product called Identity Graph.
This Data Product helps us provide more precise user insights, both in batch and near real-time and enables multiple stakeholders like BI, Finance, Moderation, and other business teams.
While being part of a central team of Data Engineers across Lisbon, Berlin, and Poznan, you will be embedded in the cross-functional Identity Graph team.
You will work closely with product managers, software engineers, product analysts, data scientists, and regional business partners to identify use cases, further develop our Identity Graph, and help integrate it with other data flows.
Our special one profile.
* Academic experience building data pipelines * Good knowledge of SQL (writes efficient, easy to read and crisp SQL code) * Academic knowledge of graph theory and graph databases * Academic experience with designing for scale and data growth in terms of storage and performance * Academic or self-taught experience with cloud data technologies (AWS, GCP, or Azure Cloud) * Knowledge and curiosity about other big data technologies and tools * Self-motivated, entrepreneurial spirit and ability to think creatively * Proactive and results-oriented person with a good sense of ownership * Good communication skills * You live in Lisboa (or close by) and are able to go to the office 2/3 times a week What we offer.
