DATA CENTER OPERATIONS TECHNICIAN (SERVER/STORAGE)

Position Description.
We are seeking a Data Center Operations Technician to join our CGI team in Salt Lake City, UT! This is a full-time career opportunity in supporting our global mining client! You will support hardware and software installation, configuration, operation and ongoing maintenance of the computer/data center.
Operates, monitors and performs basic troubleshooting of equipment, networks, and data processing/batching; assists with logging and documentation of equipment and processes.
Responsibilities may also include cabling, racking and server installations.

What you'll bring • 3-5 years of Data Center Operations Technician experience • Being able to work in person onsite • Must have worked in heavy industrial/Engineering/Construction industry • Experience with industry leading server, OS, and storage technology • Collaborator management and good communication skills • Coordinate with global collaborator • Good with Server/Storage Admin/control software/tools • Mostly work from office, but ability to work in construction/hazardous area on need basis “CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role.
