CREDIT AND TREASURY CONTROLLER

Candidates must be trilingual English, Portuguese and Spanish.
The role can be based remotely in the EU or the UK.
In this role, you will be responsible for managing the protection of company funds, preparing financial reports and implementing and supervising the factoring processes.
To ensure success as a Senior credit and treasury controller, you should have good understanding of factoring, excellent communication skills and a strong understanding to manage and report the financial activities of the business by preparing treasury reports, analytical documents and financial reporting.
POSITION SUMMARY.
Responsible for credit collection of entities in Iberia with additional back-up cover for the rest of the AR team as required.
Responsible for meeting targets in monthly receivables and keeping bad debt to a minimum.
Responsible on maintaining invoices reconciliations and bank allocations.
Main back up with working capital management, cash flow forecasts and daily updates.
Where appropriate responsibility for factoring by ensuring appropriate invoices are identified to be sold, with particular emphasis on reducing risk and returns.
To oversee with the design and implementation for new finance project / new system processes when required by the management.
Supervisory backup for management when required.
RESPONSIBILITIES.
Make collections calls on past due customer accounts.
Monitor DSO and A/R aging by customer.
Assessment of credit worthiness of potential and existing customers including determining credit limits and payment terms as and when required by management.
Build partnerships with the rest of the Finance team and with other departments (Customer Service, Sales Team).
Prepare and report on a daily, weekly and monthly basis including month and quarter end PROFILE REQUIRED Significant experience in credit collection and AR accounting Sound experience of SAP environment Significant experience of supervising High level of experience in negotiating with senior members Experience of implementation and running factoring High level of excel skills English, Spanish and Portuguese fluency required Salary.
