The Role We are seeking a talented and experienced Azure Digital Twin Architect with a focus on the energy sector to join our team.
Working as part of a project team you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing digital twin solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure technologies for energy-related applications; You will work closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, deliver innovative solutions that optimize operations, enhance asset performance, and drive business value.
Design data models, schemas, and integration patterns to ingest, process, and analyze diverse datasets from IoT sensors, SCADA systems, enterprise applications, and other sources.
Develop scalable and resilient architectures for deploying digital twins in cloud and hybrid environments, considering factors such as security, compliance, and performance.
Implement machine learning algorithms and advanced analytics techniques to derive actionable insights from digital twin data and improve operational efficiency.
Lead the development of custom applications, dashboards, and visualization tools to enable stakeholders to interact with digital twin models and make informed decisions.
Collaborate with software developers to build APIs, connectors, and data pipelines for seamless integration of digital twin solutions with existing IT systems and workflows.
What you'll bring Proven experience architecting and implementing digital twin solutions using Microsoft Azure services such as Azure Digital Twins, IoT Hub, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Functions, and Azure Machine Learning.
Deep understanding of energy systems, including power generation, transmission, distribution, and renewable energy technologies.
Experience working with industry standards and protocols such as OPC UA, MQTT, and RESTful APIs in the context of energy infrastructure.
Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, C#, or Java for building custom applications and analytics workflows.
Familiarity with data modeling techniques, time-series databases, and big data technologies for managing and analyzing large-scale sensor data.
Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified.
Azure Solutions Architect Expert or equivalent are a plus.
