ASSISTANT GBS DIRECT TO CONSUMER - RETAIL

In the role of the Assistant GBS Direct to Consumer in Retail, you will be ensuring the correct and daily execution of the reconciliation between accounts receivables and payments from stores according to the requirements of the company Accounting Manual, while having a close contact with the local Finance Teams, stores, and other teams across adidas subsidiaries.
Key Responsibilities.
• Handling, monitoring and posting of bank statements • General Ledger and Accounts Receivables accounts reconciliation, investigating and following up differences.
• Monitoring and following up of differences between systems interfaces.
• Support the successful execution of all accounting activities for DtC areas, ensuring work is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform period end closing activities such as accruals and provisions.
• Close contact with the local Finance Teams, stores and other teams across adidas subsidiaries located in Latin and North Americas and Customer Service teams, handling daily queries.

• Good Accounting knowledge.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English in a business setting.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Problem solving mindset and analytical skills.
• High degree of customer orientation.
• Be a team-player.
• Knowledge of SAP and Excel would be considered a plus.
• Previous contact or knowledge with Shared Service Center environments would be considered a plus.
Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications.
• 0-1 years relevant work experience in the accounting / business area.
• University degree in Finance related areas (Management, Economics, Accounting) or similar work experience.
