Reporting directly to the Corporate Director, my main functions are to define timelines with the different teams of the group involved in the process of opening of the hotels and make sure that the deadlines defined are met. It is also part of my responsibilities to help in the communication between the international teams and the headquarters in Portugal. My duties, among others, also include:
- Develop new ideas and concepts for the hotels, such as the concepts of the hotel itself and its restaurants, the gifts the hotel will give to its guests, etc. 
- Organize and present follow-up meetings with all internal teams involved in the project 
- Market researches for the geographies where the new projects will start 
- Contact and negotiate with suppliers and ensure that all the products needed are at the hotel in the right timings

The Growing Together is a career progression program developed by the Pestana Hotel Group, where the main objective is to pass through as many departments as possible so I can have a better view of the business. During this 13 months I was a part of the following teams:

When I integrated the marketing team of Pestana Hotel Group I was also able to work in three different areas:
 ▪ Call Centre 
▪ Product Department 
▪ Communication Department 

▪ DIRECTION OF OPERATIONS 
At this stage of the program I was reporting directly to the Director of Operations of all units from the areas of Portugal and Africa. I was also part of the teams who opened two new hotels (Pestana CR7 Funchal – June and Pestana CR7 Lisboa – July to August), where I worked directly with the hotel’s directors. I helped as well in the creation of the content for the App available for the two units.
