Researcher and development in mechanical engineering

I worked in numerical simulation applied in multiphase polymeric flow using OpenFOAM (standard and modified solvers). The tasks performed were to design geoemtries using FreeCad software, mesh generation using cfMesh or gmsh, writing scripts using programming languages like bash and python. As the simulation involved large amounts of information, I had to use High Performance Computing through a computational cluster.

I have a strong base in numerical simulation and I work on the development of computational codes through C++ (using OpenFOAM) and Fortran (house code) based on numerical methods applied in solid mechanics and fluid mechanics. I look for opportunities in a research and development environment that involves numerical simulation application in mechanical engineering.
