My functions were escort the clients to the room, presenting the hotel to the guests, helping with check ins and check outs, giving recommendations of place to visit, etc. When the pandemic started we were given lay off for over 2 months, when I came back my job became irrelevant so human resourses gave me a different one, pool assistant, quickly the pool bar manager saw that I had the ability to do more and gave me a different job, bartendender, a few weeks after he got sick and I was chosen to replace him, i did all the management of the hotel pool bar.
At the end of the high season he came back and i was asked to go to the restaurant helping with brunches and dinners but, again, by the end of september, there was no place for me anymore so I was relocated to the housekeping/laundry department until the end of my contract. I did afternoon and night shifts and my functions were taking care of guest requests, replacing minibar, taking care of the laundry, etc.

I did my final intership to finish my degree in hotel management here. At this company I worked as a recepcionist and my functions were doing check-ins and check-outs, dealing with minor complaints, recommend palces to visit, booking taxis, restaurants, wake-up calls but mainly learn how does a 5* hotel operate.

In this company I learned the most about being a waiter because it was the finest restaurant that I've worked for and certainly one of the biggest restaurants in Portugal. 
SUD Lisboa is a project of SANA HOTELS so it is managed by hoteliers and that's what makes it so different from other restaurants.
This company also gave me unpaid license to do an intership at EPIC SANA LISBOA 5* Hotel.

I did an intership at Hilton Anatole in the city of Dallas for over 3 months. I was working as head server there so I had some responsabilities, apart from the regular functions of a waiter, I did as well team management and complaint management at this hotel.

For these 3 companies I worked as waiter doing part-time for all 3. 
At Retiro do Caçador I did cashier and waiter functions, summers of 2015 and 2016.
At Sancho Panza I did cashier and waiter fuctions as well as stock management, from July of 2017 to January of 2018.
At Jonas Bar I did mainly waiter fuctions, from February of 2018 to May 2018.

As casual work from 2015 to 2017 I was planing and doing, mainly kids events, for marshmallow company. We planned kids entertainment on weddings, baptisms and birthday parties but as well some big events where we were doing the enternainment for more than 100 kids.

I finished my degree this month and I'm just waiting for my last grade to be realesed in order to have my diploma.
