Operations analyst

As a Process Control Specialist, working for the European Central Flow Team, I am responsible for managing workflow
of outbound departments in Amazon Fulfillment Centers from a remote site based in LCY2. My duties include:
• monitoring and adjusting system performance of each of the outbound processes to ensure that SLAs are
consistently met, and the Best Practices are followed.
• analyzing and minimizing the Customer Shipment Risk – making sure orders will be shipped on time.
• escalating performance opportunities to the local FC Operations Teams and providing operational insights to
the Amazon Fulfillment Technology team to support development of advanced and intuitive automated flow
control.

As a part of Enabling Technology & Digital Innovation team my key tasks included:
• Managing the innovation pipeline for the airport - providing an early evaluation or circa 100 innovation
ideas, taking into consideration trends in the market of emerging technologies, internal challenges, and longterm growth plan of the company
• Engaging with stakeholders, universities, and start-ups to understand opportunities for improving passenger
experience and operational efficiency at Gatwick, as well as to determine possible improvements to existing
business challenges. Co-ordinating monthly innovation forum calls with circa 20 other airports to encourage
sharing of innovation ideas within the airport network.
• Supporting the Innovation portfolio manager on innovation projects - assisting innovation trials and shaping
the scope of future innovation projects by collecting user requirements, assessing benefits cases, and
identifying potential suppliers.

• Providing excellent customer service – advising customers about products offered by our company and
answering questions about technical specifications of the stoves and fireplaces of their choice. Advising
which products may answer specific requirements of each client.
• Supervising logistics processes of the company on every step from order to delivery and installation of the
product. Assuring on-time delivery and transportation compliant with product requirements.
• Performing competitive analysis of other businesses in the industry – making sure our company offers the
best prices and experience for customers.
• Gathering and analysing customer feedback to assure continual improvement – engaging with clients to
understand advancement possibilities and find resolutions to service inefficiencies.
