As part of our Operations Team, I lead a strategic team in the company’s day-to-day
business, taking care of the optimization, assignation and supervision of the routes,
based on the shipments that our clients have ordered. This role includes also
strategically collaborating with the Supply team in order to influence the acquisition of
carriers, so that the mix of vehicles by geography and vehicle type matches our needs.
My work is truly making a difference in our growth.
I am responsible for
(1) handling all the information related to all our shipments;
(2) ensuring the successful assignment of vehicles to all shipments booked:
(3) designing optimal routes that ensure good vehicle utilization and that keep our
carriers engaged;
(4) supervising the proper execution of the route; and
(5) actively collaborating with the Supply department on the acquisition and
management of our network of carriers.
I am working to assure that the mix of vehicles that the Supply team acquires, as well as
their location, meet the standards that you require so that you grasp all the opportunities
of route optimization that you see on a daily basis.
I am also working close to Sales department getting all information about new business
coming (pipeline) and participating and quoting on tenders.
I took responsibility also on the Supply team so I am managing both teams at the
moment.
Supply team is responsible to acquire and onboard new carriers in our platform, giving
them some training how to use correctly our App, and informing them what our ops team
expect from them.
Based on the business plan, I need to create a Supply plan for the short and medium
term.

As Transports Coordinator my responsibilities are:
Day to day planning & control within the road & transport operations
Organizing Express transports from /to Customers/Suppliers
Controlling and monitoring of cost effective & on-time collection and deliveries plans to
European customers
Invoicing customers on a monthly basis
Continuous improvement on transports process
GKN Freight Services was formed in 1975 to harness the buying power for GKN Group
for all things transport related. GKN Freight Services is a freight management company
dedicated to providing their customers with integrated supply chain support solutions.
They have offices and warehouse facilities in each of their key markets as well as staff
working within the premises of their key customers.

I was one of the Transport Managers at the company Broliveira Transports.
This company has 400 trucks (own fleet) and operates throughout Europe. I managed
a team of 7 people and I regularly contacted our largest customers (For
example: Unilever, Mondelez, Nestle, Decathlon, etc.). My goal was the satisfaction of
our customers in order to reach a KPI of 100%. I might also coordinate with
other companies that provides freight services for our company. I learned a lot
about shipment options, legal issues, transport planning, government regulations,
and safety procedures, as the knowledge of geography, mathematics, and
computer applications.
