2006 - 2020
conhecimentos.

carta de apresentação
I am self motivated and progress-driven Scientific Researcher with an extensive background in Sustainability and Environmental Justice. During my career I had the opportunity to give contributions for the circular economy, (e. g: process development for the conversion of industrial wastes into high value products) and dissemination of important issues related with environmental protection that is entangled with the improvement of worldwide society life. With a long–standing record of initiative and innovation, I have developed and executed strategies which I believe will bring value to this sector, which possess the concept that match my designed career plan.
In my pervious role, I exercised innovation, critical thinking and teaching in contribution of team efforts and organizational improvements. My research activities was, often, associated with companies and/or European projects, which taught me how to deal with different ways of working and become me an open mind and innovative researcher. I am proven to effective and motivational, with proficiency in interpersonal and collaborative work. I enjoy brainstorming, coordinating efforts to achieve a common goal. I get benefit helping another person learn through a one-to-one relationship.
Throughout the course of my career, I have honed my capability of designing new and effective solutions and my ability to hand ideas and knowledge to different types of audiences. I am an astute problem solver capable of prioritizing and managing complex project´s tasks. I am familiar with the elaboration of reports and milestones, complying with the established deadlines. I possess good organizational and administrative skills including facility to work to deadlines.
During my degree, master and PhD work projects I had the opportunity of developing the bioconversion of industrial wastes into Polyhydroxyalkanoates and Exopolysaccharides by modeling and optimizing bioreactor processes, as well as to make and to evaluate its downstream process. Posteriorly, I empowered my skills in Analytical Chemistry (eg: GC-MS) analyzing the persistent organic pollutants on microplastics, water and sediments being proficient in other analytical techniques. Later, at ITQB I had the chance to contribute for the optimization of a catalytic process used to purify plant lipid polymers. During this period, I also developed and implemented GC-MS methods for the chemical deconvolution of complex lipid polymers where its biofunctionality were also studied.

The work developed was translated into, scientific communications, an world patent and several scientific papers.
I have being involved in the preparation and execution of some scientific projects and evaluation, which gave me improved skills to generate new ideas and links and builds upon existing ideas to generate unique concepts and solutions taking into account the operational requirements for a successful research project.
My pedagogic and reviewer activities has fostered my competences to mentor students/collaborators and to help them in building their technical/soft skills and knowledge and to support and guide their professional development as well steer them in writing adequate proposals and the write step wise critical execution to achieve thesis defenses with high level of success.
I consider myself a working ambitious, persistent, with great capacity for learning, effort and responsibility. I like to work in a multi-cultural team. I have a good level of English, and I am able to adapt to different work environment and maintain good working relationships with individuals of different cultures. I am organized: I schedule and plan to advance all the work, setting priorities. My good interpersonal relationship, my commitment, hard work, creativity and organized large capacity of motivation may contribute to the development of this project and the ones that could be designed and submitted for funding.
