We are now seeking talented Urban Planners to join our brand-new office in Lisboa, Portugal.
This critical role will work as part of our allied practice InSite team and will be responsible for contributing to master plans for the regulation and development of urban areas for some of the most prestigious and internationally recognised projects.
Responsibilities We envisage success in this role to include.
Supporting senior planners on major Master Planning projects for new and existing urban precincts.
Assisting with the production of planning reports and proposals by producing supporting text, plans, charts, and tables.
Thorough understanding of land use planning principles and practices, urban design principles and practices, urban design guidelines and development control regulations.
Strong communication skills including the ability to perform effectively in a team environment with a strong Client focus.
Qualifications To be successful in this dynamic opportunity, we envision that you will bring over 2 years career experience of working on large-scale landscape strategies with a Bachelor’s Degree in Urban Planning, Architecture or related discipline and solid written and verbal communication skills in English.
Software familiarity is required (ie Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, CAD, Excel)   Professional certification or chartered status would be highly regarded.
