We're counting on your energy ⚡   Upstream Procurement Analyst   Mission In this role, you will be responsible to manage and execute Procurement & Contracting activities for Galp’s Upstream Projects, looking for safe, efficient and cost-effective solutions together with Galp’s Joint Venture Partners.
The successful candidate should be able to develop sourcing strategies for different categories of spend, namely targeting offshore projects and deliver value and improved operational performance, with a focus on safety and risk management.
What you'll do Analyze Joint Venture procurement plans, contracting strategies, award proposals, ensuring robust data analytics support and prepare adequate procurement assessments over the proposed strategies Forecasting price trends and their impact on future activities, and ensuring that responsible sourcing is prioritized in the sourcing strategies Develop effective risk management strategies for key suppliers and key contracts Undertaking value-for-money reviews of existing contracts and arrangements Alignment with businesses objectives and executing value-creation projects Maintain professional relationships with all stakeholders’ networks, keeping up to date with trends, innovations and regulations that can impact business   What you'll need Academic Background in Engineering, Economics or Business Management Proficiency in English Proven working experience in Procurement (Upstream experience is a plus) Complementary training in Negotiation favored Good computer skills from the user's perspective (Microsoft Office advanced user) Power BI knowledge is a plus  Excellent networking and negotiation skills, strong analytical skills and goal-oriented Problem-solving skills & good time management capabilities Good communication and interpersonal skills attention to details, organized, team player with the ability to ensure all practices are aligned with Galp’s internal requirements Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) At Galp, we have the ambition to be a Human Centered Company, and for that we acknowledge our responsibility to promote Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) by having a genuine  mindset, lived on our day-to-day, in all our processes.
