Key requirements for this role include.
- Thorough understanding in the Unreal Engine 5 environment - Previous experience experimenting and trialing mechanics for UE5 - Understanding and implementing real-time combat mechanics in RPG games - An understanding of the blueprint system - Design Artificial Intelligence (AI) behavior for the bosses - Develop special ability mechanics which I will provide details for - Create interactive and reactive environments What I will provide.
- Custom 3D Characters rigged to the UE5 mannequin, allowing for a wide range of pre -made animations for use.
- All the boss mechanics with detail on actions - Custom 3D buildings and environments exported with Datasmith My end goal is to create a conceptual game which showcases each of the bosses and their mechanics, as well as a feel for myself and other game testers to test the fluency of combat when we fight each boss.
If there are aspects you are unsure how to implement, I have tutorials saved on YouTube which I can provide, so long as you understand how blueprints and all of that works.
