Washington, DC   About the Role.
At Boston Scientific, the Sr.
Analyst Global Government Affairs will be a results-oriented advocate responsible for researching, analyzing, and supporting government affairs issues and initiatives on behalf of the company.
Your Responsibilities Include.
Assist in managing solicitation, disbursement, and compliance operations for the company’s political action committee, BSC PAC.
Conduct research and analysis, and prepare summaries of congressional, administration and regulatory hearings.
Provide quantitative and qualitative documentation necessary for lobbying efforts and legislative/regulatory initiatives at the State, Federal and International levels.
Attend meetings, calls, hearings, and industry functions, including fundraisers, receptions, meet-and-greets, etc.
Proactively prepare internal and external communications such as the Government Affairs Newsletter, web content, fact sheets, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, etc.
Performs various office manager and administrative duties as necessary, including.
General administrative duties such as coordinating meetings/appointments; ordering and maintaining supplies, arranging travel, preparing, and sorting mail and courier materials.
Maintaining contact with various individual and organizational stakeholders on behalf of Government Affairs, demonstrating tact, persuasion, and negotiation skills.
Supporting Government Affair staff in organization and execution of project deliverables, including research and analysis of information to support policy positions (State, Federal, International).
Processing vendor invoices and maintaining relations with vendors (membership organizations, coalitions, consultants, etc.) Supporting creation and maintenance of annual operating plan (budget) for Government Affairs.
What We’re Looking For.
Bachelor’s degree preferably in government/public relations or similar with 2 years or more of congressional, government relations, or other relevant experience with knowledge of the state, federal and/or international legislative and public policy processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and able to communicate effectively to diverse audiences.
Aptitude to thrive in a fast-paced, lean operating environment.
Excellent technical skills and knowledge of AI, ChatGPT, and Microsoft Suite.
