Position Description.
CGI is looking for an experienced Magento Developer.
Job Description.
As a Magento Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Magento-based e-commerce websites.
You will work closely with our project managers, designers, and other developers to deliver custom solutions that meet our clients' unique requirements.
Responsibilities.
Develop and customize Magento themes and extensions to create visually appealing and user-friendly e-commerce (NetSuite) websites.
Collaborate with project managers and designers to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Write clean, modular, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Integrate Magento with third-party systems, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and ERP (NetSuite) systems.
Perform quality assurance testing to ensure the stability, security, and performance of Magento websites.
Troubleshoot and debug issues reported by clients or identified during testing.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in Magento development and e-commerce.
Requirements.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Proven experience as a Magento developer, with expertise in Magento 1.
and/or Magento 2.

Strong proficiency in PHP programming language and MySQL database management.
Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery.
Familiarity with Magento's architecture, including its MVC structure and module development.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications.
Magento certification(s) (e.
., Magento Certified Developer).
Knowledge of NetSuite e-commerce platform and technologies.
The ideal candidate will have a can-do attitude, passion for technology, extensive analysis experience.
This candidate will serve as a techno functional expert of a large-scale digital development project consisting of both on-shore and off-shore developers.
