SENIOR HSE COORDINATOR

Vacancy information The Senior HSE Coordinator located at the Filyos Marine Base holds the main responsibility for the practical management of all HSE issues and incidents that occur on the base.
They are also accountable for monitoring support under the SIA Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Emergency Response Plans (ERP) for the worksite.
The Filyos Marine Base is a SIA worksite that includes four distinct working areas within the wider marine base.
These are the shared communal areas.
offices, lunch facilities, parking areas, and open spaces.
Additionally, there are several dedicated working areas including SURF (Subsea 7), Subsea Production Systems (OneSubsea), and Line pipe storage area and associated working areas (Saipem managed).
The HSE Advisor will have responsibilities for the following.
HSE support for the Filyos Marine Base Manager, and project management team HSE support and direction for the wider based shared responsibilities, being.
Monthly reporting, Wider marine base inductions, Emergency response arrangements on all worksites.
Collaboration between direct consortium partners on site.
Be fully responsible for supporting and overseeing all operations within the SIA Base, including support and coaching.
This is a key role within the SIA HSE Team; responsibilities of the role include.
On-site support to all SIA worksites, work team members responsible for the day-to-day HSE for the SURF Worksite.
Supporting Leading Safety Program, Leading Health Management across the entire SURF package and all worksites (Heat stress, cold weather, hygiene, noise, chemical exposures etc) Leading vehicle and road transport safety across the entire SURF package and all worksites, including supporting suppliers in this area, Leading DROPs prevention across the entire SURF Package, including SUBSEA7, supplier offshore vessels and support spreads, onshore worksites etc Lead (with HSE Manager) Safety in Design support across all SURF Packages, and Supporting integration of IOGP HSE Processes where relevant for SURF Package.
Due to the accelerated nature of the project, a candidate with significant knowledge of the Subsea7 SSoW is preferred and with the necessary experience to effectively deliver and support a varied range of scopes.
This position will require previous experience working with large suppliers and ensure their HSE standards match or exceed that of Subsea7 and project.
The role will also be required to execute traditional HSE Advisor position deliverables as described below within the Subsea7 HSE management system.
Additional Key Requirements of the Role.
Travel to and from Turkey and various worksites (Ankara, Istanbul and Filyos) will be needed in addition to travel within Europe to line pipe suppliers’ worksites.
Senior HSE Advisor is expected to have a presence on all worksites both onshore and offshore, Ability to support Project HSE Manager and cover when needed, Ability to Coordinate investigations with demonstrated experience in completing Root Cause Analysis reports using Taproot, ICAM and or other processes, Follow on support with onshore worksites and interface with Gas Plant teams, Fitness to work offshore and travel is essential, Relevant professional HSE qualifications and minimum 7+ years HSE experience, Demonstrated experience working with diverse workforces and diverse cultural backgrounds.
Proficient in written and spoken English.
General Key HSE Deliverables of the Role Assist and advise the project/worksite personnel on all matters pertaining to the health, safety, security and welfare of personnel, the safeguarding of equipment and the preservation of the environment, Ability to use typical Microsoft products as well as using Microsoft Teams, Streams, OneDrive, Planner etc, Ability to speak in public and present in an engaging way, Contribute to wider HSE team(s) and support younger team members, provide support to project HSE Manager and wider project management team, Promote, enhance and deliver the SUBSEA7 SSoW elements, Lead by example in all behaviours both at work and outside of ‘work’, Promote Supplier HSE initiatives and share best practice with Suppliers, Completion of weekly and monthly reports and other typical admin Running and leading HSE meetings with Suppliers, Promote Project HSE Focus areas and conduct activities in relations to those, Support project with the maintenance of specific HSE documents including, Emergency Response Plans, other HSE documentation, Co-ordinate or participate in HSE risk assessments.
Review Subcontractor risk assessment reports to ensure they are adequate and facilitate as needed, Participate and Supervise incident investigations - provide report and monitor the close out of actions from Suppliers, Provide input to Project HSE reports and reviews as required Deliver site TOFS / TOFE as required OUR OFFER We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
