We are now looking for a Senior Data Scientist willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team.
Are you the one? Degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science/engineering, or other related technical fields with equivalent practical experience; 3+ years of experience performing data science projects; Experience performing the full lifecycle of machine learning model development activities (including data engineering etl, pipelines, data modeling), feature development, validation and implementation/assessment, post-production (including monitoring, re-training and re-engineering); Demonstrated statistical knowledge; Strong knowledge of python programming language; Experience with data science toolkits (numpy, pandas, scikit, pyspark, databricks, mlflow, keras, pytorch); Experience working with data visualization toolkits (ggplot, matplotlib, seaborn); Experience working with large scale unstructured and structured datasets and databases; Experience with big data technologies (hive, hdfs, spark); Experience applying advanced analytics solutions to solve complex business problems; Experience using supervised, unsupervised and semi supervised techniques on large, disparate and unbalanced datasets; Experience communicating findings to other data scientist and project leaders; Proactive attitude and agility of reasoning - strong team spirit, leadership capability, dynamism and communication capacity; Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both portuguese and english.
