Tasks For our next phase of growth we are looking to add a talented and motivated Back End Engineer to join our engineering team.
You will play a key role in translating business requirements into technical solutions and with this contribute to the overall sucess and growth of our platform.
In this position you will.
Create and implement architectural concepts for new features emphasizing scalability reliability and agility.
Enhance existing backend services by writing maintainable code refactoring as needed and implementing new features to meet evolving business needs.
Design and implement unified REST APIs that facilitate seamless communication between frontend and backend systems enabling efficient data exchange and integration.
Work closely with the product management team to understand requirements provide technical insights and ensure efficient development processes.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the development team conduct code reviews and promote best practices in code quality testing and deployment.
Requirements We are looking for candidates with the following skills and values.
Outstanding degree in Computer Science or similar 5 experience in the SaaS product or marketplace field Proven track record in fullstack development with focus on backend systems as well as architectural design and implementation Strong expertise in.
Java and Spring Boot Relational and NoSQL databases (Elasticsearch) Cloud platforms (AWS) REST API design and development Microservice architecture and containerization (Docker Kubernetes) Familiar with agile development approaches Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and adjust flexibly to frequent context changes Handson and solutionoriented attitude Taking full ownership and accountability over your work Good communication skills Ambition to grow within the company Team player with high integrity Located in Lisbon or within a comfortable commute distance What about our tech Our current platform is developed using Spring Framework Elasticsearch Postgresql React Typescript Keycloak AWS.
