JOB SCOPE We are seeking Senior API Management & Microservice Developers to join the Celfocus Software Engineering Guild in Portugal.

Be a mentor, be a leader, be a reference! RESPONSIBILITIES Analyze, design, build, test, and deploy API Management and Microservices solutions based on business and technical requirements.
Assume technical leadership role and work with Solution Architects to design amazing solutions; participate in the definition of the roadmap of the solutions.
Foster Software Engineering best practices across multiple stakeholders.
Participate in the definition and continuous improvement of Software Development Principles and Practices, as well as ensuring they are understood and followed across projects and stakeholders.
Mentor and lead team members towards a lean culture that values continuous improvement.
Contribute to the Software Engineering community to ensure a motivated and collaborative ecosystem.
Promote business continuity by supporting proposals and hiring activities.
TECH SKILLS AND PERSONAL TRAITS +5 years of experience designing and developing Microservices and API Management solutions.
Experience developing Java software (mandatory experience with Java 8 and latest versions).
Experience developing API Management technologies.
Google Apigee (mandatory) Kong Gateway (optional) AWS API Gateway (optional) Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and Microservice architecture design patterns.
In-depth knowledge in defining Digital Experience/Engagement architectures.
Experience in designing and developing API-based and Event-based solutions for scalable, distributed systems.
Experience in security standards e.

Experience with Caching strategies.
Experience with Traffic Management strategies.
Experience in defining and implementing API monetization models.

Experience in defining API Governance processes.
In-depth understanding of transmission protocols (e.
