About the Role.
Join our Eat Natural Team at our Halstead Plant as a Section Leader, where your role is pivotal within our dynamic organisation, overseeing and optimising production processes in your designated area.
We are seeking an experienced individual capable of leading by example, instilling a culture of quality, and employing lean tools for continuous improvement.
This hands-on position requires supervision of a line's performance, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, all contributing to the overall operational excellence of the business.
Main Responsibilities.
As a Section Leader, you will play a vital role in supervising the production line for efficiency and quality compliance.
Your responsibilities extend to managing inventory and adhering to SQCDME escalation procedures.
Collaborating within the production line, you ensure proper inputs and outputs, support the Production Manager in stakeholder interactions, and oversee the scheduling of personnel in line with budget allocation.
Your role also involves implementing measures to prevent workplace incidents, ensuring legal compliance, and defining people rotation based on business needs for timely deliveries.
In the realm of FOX / Ferrero Operational Excellence, as a Section Leader, you play an important role in leading problem-solving activities and identifying root causes.
Actively controlling and monitoring production line performance is a key aspect of your responsibility.
As a Section Leader, you are expected to work independently and collaboratively, building strong team relationships.
Taking ownership, demonstrating proactive planning, and being responsive to change are integral to your role.
Proposing objectives to support business goals, driving team development, and acting in alignment with the business vision and values are critical components of your responsibilities.
Additionally, you support the business with actions in line with the code of ethics.
Usual working hours Monday to Friday am- pm.
Who we are looking for.
To thrive in this role, you will have experience leading in a production or manufacturing environment, ideally with a small team.
You should be adept at role modelling quality, using lean tools, and supporting colleagues.
