As a Scrum Master, you will play a crucial role in our Agile development process, facilitating the effective implementation of Scrum methodologies across our teams.
You will be responsible for guiding and coaching teams to deliver high-quality products and services, while fostering a culture of collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement.
How the day by day looks like in this job? Act as a servant-leader for the Agile development team, facilitating all Scrum events (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives) and ensuring their effectiveness.
Coach the team in Agile principles, practices, and frameworks, helping them to understand and embrace the Scrum methodology.
Remove impediments and blockers that hinder the team's progress, enabling them to deliver value consistently and efficiently.
Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and self-organization within the team, encouraging open communication and constructive feedback.
Shield the team from external distractions and interruptions, allowing them to focus on their commitments and goals.
Work closely with product owners and stakeholders to ensure alignment on priorities, requirements, and expectations.
Track and communicate team progress, using metrics and tools to monitor velocity, quality, and other relevant performance indicators.
Continuously identify opportunities for improvement and facilitate retrospectives to reflect on ways to enhance team effectiveness and efficiency.
Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in Agile and Scrum, sharing knowledge and insights with the team.

Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach, facilitating Scrum ceremonies and guiding teams through the Agile development process.
Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, with the ability to apply them in a practical context.
Excellent communication, facilitation, and coaching skills, with the ability to influence and motivate teams towards shared goals.
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to address challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.
Proficiency in Agile tools and techniques, such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Fluent in English Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal   What we offer at Keyrus Portugal.
