Job Description and Responsibilities.
Fraunhofer Portugal AWAM is opening a Scientist position to join the R&D team in Vila Real.
The focus will be on the development of application-oriented, market-driven and fit-for-purpose solutions for promoting energy transition and resource valorisation, specifically the development of Carbon Capture and Utilization (CCU) solutions.
The work encompasses the assembling, testing and optimization of lab prototypes, testing of membranes and parameter estimation, sample preparation and characterization, set-up of new testing procedures and evaluation of data, and documenting and communicating results.
