SAP GROUP REPORTING DATA COLLECTION (GRDC) SPECIALIST ON SAP S/4HANA

Denmark Type Contract SAP Group Reporting Data Collection (GRDC) Specialist on SAP S/4HANA.
Next Ventures are currently executing a search for a Group reporting specialist for a part time opportunity.
Start Immediate  Utilisation 50%, remote working.
With some on site visits (Paid expenses) to Denmark  .
The role.
The GRDC Specialist will manage the data collection and consolidation processes within the SAP S/4HANA platform, focusing on integrating non-SAP company codes into the consolidation framework.
This role involves ensuring accurate data collection, consolidation, and reporting, while also extending the solution to accommodate additional processes and improving overall financial reporting efficiency.
Responsibilities Data Collection Management.
Oversee the data collection process for company codes not integrated into SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Implement and manage GRDC tools to facilitate data collection from diverse sources.
Coordinate with local finance teams to ensure timely and accurate data submissions.
Consolidation and Reporting.
Manage the financial consolidation process using SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards (IFRS, GAAP) and regulatory requirements.
Generate and review consolidated financial statements and reports.
System Integration and Data Quality.
Work with IT and finance teams to integrate non-SAP data sources into the SAP S/4HANA environment.
Ensure data quality and integrity through validation and reconciliation processes.
Process Improvement.
Identify opportunities to extend the use of SAP Group Reporting to additional processes.
Develop and implement enhancements to improve data collection, consolidation, and reporting efficiency.
Automate manual processes where possible to enhance accuracy and reduce time Stakeholder Collaboration.
Collaborate with finance, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful implementation of GRDC and reporting initiatives.
Provide training and support to local finance teams on data collection and reporting procedures.
Documentation and Compliance.
Maintain detailed documentation of data collection processes, integration points, and reporting procedures.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications.
Educational Background.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field.
Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, or equivalent are a plus.
Experience.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial consolidation and reporting, preferably using SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting.
Experience with data collection and integration from non-SAP sources.
Technical Skills.
Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, specifically in Group Reporting and GRDC tools.
Strong understanding of financial consolidation processes and accounting principles.
Familiarity with data integration tools and techniques.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify and resolve data quality issues.
Strong problem-solving abilities to address integration and reporting challenges.
Communication and Collaboration.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users..
Preferred Qualifications.
Experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and advanced reporting tools.
Knowledge of scripting languages and automation tools for process improvement.
Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements related to financial reporting.
