Has a working knowledge of Safety Methods.
Safety Plan, Preliminary Hazard Analysis PHA, Failure Modes and Effects Critical Analysis FMECA, Fault Tree Analysis FTA, Interface Hazard Analysis IHA, Operation & Support Hazard Analysis OSHA, Safety related Item List SRIL, Hazard Log HL, V&V Safety Report, and Safety Case.
Objectives Provide technical expertise/guidance and support at every step of the product/project life cycle.

Responsibilities Deliver/perform Safety analysis under the guidance of the PSAM, with the strict application of process as per Signalling Safety Instruction Participate to the elaboration of the Safety Reports and the Safety Case under the guidance of the PSAM Apply the safety assurance methodologies (risk acceptance criteria, safety analysis, verification and validation) defined for the project / system / product Attend periodic Safety Reviews Support actions contributing to close the findings of the assessors (Internal or External)   Educational Requirements Engineering degree.
Specific training in Railway Safety Domain.
English is mandatory.
Desired Knowledge / Experience Minimum 2 years in Safety Assurance in connected Railway Signalling Safety Projects.
Experience in Signalling interlocking projects.
Successful experience in working in a multi-site, multi-cultural environment.

Technical Skills & Competencies Good practice of dependability study techniques (PHA, SHA, FMECA, FTAs, …) Practical experience of European and International Technical Standards (e.

Proven experience in Safety Case delivery to final customer.
Experience with external Independent Safety Assessment (ISAs).
Technical knowledge in signalling principles for interlocking is mandatory.
Technical knowledge in ETCS-Trackside L1 and L2 subsystem and ETCS Onboard is desired.
Technical knowledge in CBTC is desired.
