The consumer goods industry is worth EUR 3trn globally but is still plagued with lack of transparency inefficient collaboration and data flows which ultimately slows down the pace of innovation and therefore the amount of sustainable products being launched on the market.
Covalos mission is to foster greater transparency sustainability and innovation in the industry by connecting consumer goods brands with the right suppliers to bring products to market faster.

Tasks For our next phase of growth we are looking to add a talented and motivated Product Manager to join our team.
In this role you will be at the forefront of defining and executing product strategy to drive Covalos mission forward.
You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to build products that enhance our platforms capabilities and user experience making sustainable innovation accessible to consumer goods brands worldwide.
In this position you will.
Contribute to define and execute the product roadmap Work closely with the engineering team to prioritise their work in line with Covalos strategy and the product roadmap.
Actively manage and refine the product backlog ensuring it is transparent clean and concise with clear tasks and priorities.
Enhance product documentation including specifications and decisionmaking rationales to improve consistency and communication across teams.
Analyse product performance in a structured and datadriven approach to ensure key bottlenecks are being addressed on time Work with design and business teams to deliver product features from conception to launch.
Conduct prerelease testing to guarantee quality and alignment with user requirements contributing to a seamless and effective product rollout.
Act as a product evangelist both internally and externally articulating the product vision and value proposition.
Requirements We are looking for candidates with the following skills and values.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Engineering Design Computer Science or a related field.
Proven experience as a product owner or product management preferably in the SaaS marketplace or consumer goods industry.
Experience working in a startup at the scaleup phase Strong understanding and proven experience using Scrum methodology.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to make datadriven decisions.
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across different teams.
A passion for sustainability and innovation in the consumer goods industry.
Great empathy yet not afraid to be the bad cop Flexibility to adapt in a fastpaced and evolving environment.
Proficiency in Jira and Google Analytics is a plus.
Located in Lisbon or within a comfortable commute distance What about our tech Our current platform is developed using Spring Framework Elasticsearch Postgresql React Typescript Keycloak AWS.

You will be an essential part of this process being the bridge between our customers commercial functions and engeineerign team.
