PAYMENTS BUSINESS ANALYST (SWIFT/ISO)

Position Description.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
- Analyzing and Documenting requirements using various requirement elicitation techniques.
- Working with the key stakeholders, able to outline the current state and required future state for the program.
- Knowledge of MT and MX SWIFT messages.
- Understanding of ISO messages, usage, conditions, elements and their occurrence in a message (mandatory vs optional) - Able to perform a comparatively analysis to identify gaps, or discrepancies.
- Actively leads the solution design discussions with Product Owners, SMEs, Technology teams etc, to bridge the gaps.
- Leading the walkthrough of the requirements with various stakeholders and incorporating feedbacks.
- Participating in cross-functional meetings to understand team needs and offer analytical support.
Also, provide demos to internal groups and users.
- Managing requirements, developing User stories and acceptance criteria.
- Creating Test plan, executing Test cases and generating Test reports.
- Working closely with external teams for testing and implementation of the requirements.
- Able to lead and manage requirements throughout the project life cycle.
- Prepare mockups, process maps and documentation of the end-to-end process.
- Providing support to Product, Technology, and Operations teams, ensuring seamless communication and understanding across departments.
- Prepare training material and lead training sessions with the users.
Nice to Have skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Prior Experience with knowledge of SDLC, both in Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Familiarity with different data formats such as XML and JSON are assets.
- Certification in Business Analysis (e.
., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
- Experience in financial services or a related industry.
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.
., SQL, Excel, Tableau).
