Key Responsibilities.
- Create new categories.
I am looking to add new categories to my Opencart store.
These should be structured and organized correctly to ensure they are user-friendly for customers.
- Implement custom fields for products.
The new categories will require custom fields for products.
These fields may vary across different categories, so the ability to create unique fields on a per-category basis is crucial.
Experience & Skills Needed.
- Prior experience with Opencart is essential.
I need a developer who is familiar with the platform and can navigate its structure to create new categories.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce and product management.
The ideal candidate should also be familiar with how product categories and attributes can be used to optimize sales and customer experience.
- Customization experience.
The developer should have experience in adding custom fields to Opencart products.
This may involve some level of backend development or coding within the platform.
Please note, the management of these custom fields should be done through the Opencart admin panel, so the ability to guide me on how to use these features is a plus.
