Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
5+ years of experience as a Linux Administrator with a strong focus on RHEL, CentOS, and related technologies.
Proficiency in Linux operating systems and system administration tools.
Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, OpenStack) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift).
Familiarity with network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.
Knowledge of storage solutions, including SAN and NAS.
Proficiency in scripting languages (e.
., Bash, Python, or Perl) for automation.
Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible) and version control systems (Git).
Understanding of ITIL principles and experience working in ITIL-based environments.
Some of your responsibilities will be.
Manage and maintain Linux servers, primarily RHEL and CentOS, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Utilize LVM (Logical Volume Manager) for efficient storage management.
Implement and maintain virtualization technologies such as VMware and OpenStack.
Work with containerization platforms like Docker, Kubernetes, and Openshift.
Monitor network protocols, firewalls, and load balancing solutions.
Administer storage solutions, including SAN and NAS.
Develop and maintain automation scripts using scripting languages like Bash, Python, or Perl to improve processes and efficiency.
Implement configuration management using tools like Ansible and manage version control with Git.
Work within an ITIL-based environment, adhering to ITIL principles.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.
Provide mentoring and guidance to junior administrators.
