Keyrus is seeking a seasoned Tech Lead to oversee a dynamic team in a large-scale migration initiative for a leading financial institution, from SAS Data Integration Studio to PySpark.
You'll play a pivotal role in orchestrating the migration strategy, ensuring seamless integration, and overseeing the technical direction to ensure a successful transition.
This position is fully remote.
Your Duties and Responsibilities.
Lead the migration initiative from SAS DI to PySpark, overseeing and guiding the team's efforts.
Architect, design, and implement PySpark-based solutions aligned with project goals.
Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and direction to junior team members.
Optimize data pipelines, algorithms, and processes for maximum efficiency and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver robust solutions.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PySpark data processing.
Document code, processes, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference.
About You.
8+ years of experience with PySpark and SAS DI Previous leadership experience Expertise in Python or Scala programming languages for data processing tasks Strong understanding of SQL, data structures, algorithms, and optimization techniques Excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills Fluent in English (French is a Plus) Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or having a work permit for Portugal Nice-to-have.
Previous experience with Azure Synapse Analytics Prior experience leading or managing teams in large-scale data migration projects Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.

AWS, Azure, GCP) for data processing tasks Proficiency in data warehousing concepts and ETL processes At Keyrus Portugal, we offer.
