Keyrus is seeking a Junior PySpark Developer to join our dynamic team for an exciting migration from SAS Data Integration Studio to PySpark.
This initiative aims to leverage PySpark's capabilities, fostering innovation and efficiency within a large-scale data processing environment.
This position is fully remote.
Your Duties and Responsibilities.
Collaborate with the team to migrate existing functionalities from SAS DI to PySpark Develop and maintain PySpark-based solutions aligned with project objectives Optimize data pipelines and algorithms for improved efficiency and performance Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to PySpark data processing Document code, processes, and solutions for knowledge sharing and future reference About You.
Professional experience with PySpark (1 - 2 years) Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or Scala Knowledge of SQL language Problem-solving skills Ability to work effectively in a team environment Good communication skills Fluent in English (French is a plus) Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or having a work permit for Portugal Nice-to-have.
Knowledge of SAS DI Previous experience in data migration projects Understanding of data structures, algorithms, and data processing techniques Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP for data processing Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes At Keyrus Portugal, we offer.
