Department Overview Motorola Solutions is expanding the engineering team in Lisbon with Junior Java Full Stack Developers.
As Java Full Stack Developer you will be responsible for developing cutting-edge web applications in micro frontend and backend microservices that enhance our products.
You will be integrated in a cross-functional team with autonomy to develop and deploy new features in a CI/CD environment.
Each cross-functional team includes devops, front-end and back-end and fullstack engineers that work closely with designers, product owner and product manager to create great features and delight our customers.

Job Description Responsibilities.
- This software development role is to develop microservices using Java language and micro frontends using React.
- To design, develop and deploy efficient and scalable front-end and back-end solutions in the cloud in a highly collaborative team environment.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and adherence to best practices.
- Comfortable with learning and using new tools and technologies in the software development sphere and sharing knowledge and best practices with the team.
Basic Requirements Minimum Requirements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1 year experience in Java and java frameworks (Spring Boot, JPA) - Professional or academic experience with databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB) - Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Fluency in English, both written and verbal.
Preferred Qualifications.
- Experience in Cloud Technologies (Azure) - Knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming - Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript and React - Knowledge of micro frontend and micro service architectures - Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks and methodologies.
