Full Time Job Summary.
We are seeking a skilled Java 8 Developer with the potential to make a significant impact on our team.
The ideal candidate possesses strong expertise in Java 8 programming, and familiarity with PriceFx/CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) solutions would be considered an advantage.
As a Java Developer, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and maintain innovative software solutions that meet our business requirements.
Responsibilities.
• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality software applications using Java 8 and related technologies.
• Collaborate with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather and understand software requirements.
• Translate software requirements into well-structured, efficient, and maintainable code.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, adherence to coding standards, and knowledge sharing among team members.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate solutions.
• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in Java development, suggesting improvements to enhance software performance and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software applications with existing systems and third-party APIs.
• Actively participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to technical documentation, including system design, API documentation, and user guides.
Qualifications.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Proven experience in Java 8 development, including strong proficiency in core Java concepts, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with PriceFx/CPQ solutions is a strong advantage.
• Experience with Java frameworks and libraries, such as Spring Framework, Hibernate, and Apache libraries.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, JSON, and XML.
• Proficiency in database design and SQL queries, preferably with experience in working with relational databases (e.
., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward addressing technical challenges.
• Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus.
• Knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) would be beneficial.
