The role As the Internal Communications Senior Manager, you will lead employee and executive communication for Hitachi DS.
You will also work with leaders and teams to shape and tell our talent and business messages, drive engagement, and keep employees informed and inspired.
In this role, you will provide executive communications counsel and collaborate with cross-functional partners to develop and execute internal communications campaigns.
The ideal candidate is someone who can operate as a strategic thought partner who can work across the organization to create, align, and implement global communications programs.
Responsibilities • Oversee the development and execution of a strategic internal communications plan that connects the company and culture, enabling a two-way dialogue with our people.
• Build and organize internal comms systems and processes to keep leadership aligned on communication priorities, partnering with them to craft a cohesive messaging strategy.
• Distill complex topics into compelling messages, build and manage creative campaigns, and design crisp written content.
• Support the Executive Leadership team, e.
., CEO, COO, CBO, CTO, CDO and Head of Human Resources.
• Provide bespoke internal/external communications support to our CEO.
• Set strategic direction for employee-facing communications, managing the content and distribution channels delivering inspirational story-telling and purposeful communications.
• Create a communications editorial calendar and orchestrate a plan to sequence and align messaging to support key HR and organizational initiatives and delivering a consistent, connected messaging strategy.
• Advance leadership communication strategies and develop infrastructure to keep senior leadership aligned, leaders engaged, and our people inspired and empowered.
• Track and measure employee engagement against KPIs and develop plans to ensure progress with channel and content optimization.
What you'll bring • 8+ years' experience in managing complex global internal communication programs in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Proven ability to manage and translate complex business issues into compelling and clear messages.
• Experience leading internal communications for people across the HR ecosystem.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
proven ability to persuade, influence and respond to senior leaders and stakeholders; you are a confident and fact-based advisor to senior management who can balance multiple strategic directions and priorities.
• High-quality copywriting, speech writing, presentation planning and delivery skills.
• Drive communication activities to support transformation, change management and culture initiatives.
• Experience in PR/communications ideally in a technology company.
• Strong executive presence with excellent interpersonal skills.
