This project focuses on the extraction of complete tables from different websites.
Requirements.
- Have expertise in web scraping and excel.
- Be able to deliver completed work ASAP.
Ideal Skills.
- Proficiency in tools or programming languages for web scraping.
- Strong command of Excel and data wrangling.
- Demonstrated punctuality and adherence to deadlines.
This is a time-sensitive task, requiring both speed and accuracy.
Please, only serious and dedicated freelancers should consider this project.
Job Description.
There are 2 sets of tables, Soccer and Basketball for my analysis during my free time.
1.
The links are in the spreadsheet highlighted in yellow.
The script must also be easy to understand and allow me to add new tables in the future.
2.
Create a macro that will extract the table from each of the links and into Excel.
Because the table statistics change every day, currently, I copy and paste manually, so I want to automate it.
3.
The details start from the R - Team row.
4.
Compulsory for basketball to extract data in Columns B to J, and for Soccer Columns B to I 5.
Only programmers with successful scraping demos will be considered.
6.
The fastest who can show me a successful demo will be prioritised.
7.
Looking to finish the job over the weekend.
8.
All the tables must be refreshed.
