Power Solutions & Vestas Quality > Applications, Controls & Electrical > Switchgear & Cables The department is responsible of several Sub Modules, of which one specifically covers switchgear and Cables.
Switchgear and Cables are designed, manufactured, and tested by qualified suppliers based on Technical Purchase Specifications and through cooperation with the Switchgear & Cables Sub-Module that is located in Portugal and India.
We provide first-in-class solutions meeting system and grid requirements.
Responsibilities * Design Documentation.
Develop and maintain comprehensive design documentation for high voltage switchgear, ensuring accuracy, compliance with industry standards, and effective communication of technical specifications * Technical Expertise.
Apply in-depth knowledge and experience in switchgear design to create innovative and efficient solutions.
Stay abreast of industry trends, standards, and emerging technologies to enhance the design process * Work in projects.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate design requirements and ensure effective on-time project delivery * Quality Assurance.
Implement rigorous quality control measures to verify the accuracy and reliability of design documentation.
Conduct thorough reviews and inspections to identify and address potential issues proactively Qualifications * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field Competencies * Switchgear Expertise.
Possess a solid background and proven experience in high voltage switchgear design, demonstrating a deep understanding of relevant technologies, components, and industry best practices * Extraverted Communication.
Exhibit positive extraverted communication skills to effectively interact with suppliers, team members, and stakeholders.
Provide an open and collaborative environment for advanced project execution * Problem-Solving.
Demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, identifying challenges and proposing innovative solutions to develop and maintain high voltage switchgear effectively * Team Collaboration.
