Position Description.
CGI is looking for an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to join our team.
As a Full Stack Java Developer, the candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining both front-end and back-end components of our web applications.
They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements and exceed user expectations.
The selected candidate must be in close proximity to the CGI office located in Pittsburgh, PA or Cleveland, OH - with Pittsburgh being the preferred location.

• Expert in Design and development of REST services including authorization and metering.
• Prior experience in JavaScript Frameworks (Angular JS is required) • Expert in designing/developing J2EE based web-applications (JSP, Servlets, JSF, XSLT, XML) • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience (6+ years) in full-stack Java development, including front-end and back-end development.
• Proficiency in Java programming language and related frameworks/libraries such as Spring Boot, Hibernate, etc.
• Experience with modern front-end technologies like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks/libraries (Angular, React, Vue.
s).
• Strong understanding of web development concepts, including RESTful APIs, MVC architecture, and asynchronous programming.
• Experience with relational databases and proficiency in SQL.
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
