Energy and Prices Management  of  EDP Comercial, an EDP Group's company, is recruiting for the  Energy Management department.
Job Description.
We are seeking a highly motivated and proactive person with an analytical profile and communication skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for making forecasting of EDP customers consumption, market supervision and energy prices managing.
Managing short/long term demand forecast for EDP customer (electricty/gas(GoO...); Continuous backtesting of model's results; Managing customer's energy needs working together the energy management EDP team (GEM); Provide support to the sales unit in order to elaborate energy proposals for customers; Develop and implement data-driven solutions to complex business problems; Design and build data models to support decision making; Communicate findings and recommendations to top-management.
What kind of profile are we looking for? Master's degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or Physic, other may be accepted if comes with relevant experience to the job; Up to 3 years of working experience in energy prices management; Knowledge in energy markets and demand forecast is appreciated (Hands-on experience in building predictive models) Proficiency in programming languages such as Python; Experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI; Strong communication skills and ability to present complex data analysis to non-technical stakeholders; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Strong problem-solving skills and a desire to continuously learn and improve.
