We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team, on a hybrid format, with the possibility of participating in many interesting and cutting-edge projects through the whole life-cycle.
Your role.
Senior Data Scientist exhibits expert-level understanding and execution of data science projects with a strategic impact on the organization.
Responsibilities include:• Leadership and mentorship to teams of data scientists and analysts, guiding them to success on intricate data science initiatives.• Defining the strategic direction for data science projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.• Conducting advanced analysis of complex datasets to derive profound insights, forecast trends, and pinpoint opportunities for improvement.• Designing, implementing, and evaluating advanced statistical models and machine learning algorithms to address high-impact business challenges.• Lead the integration of big data technologies and advanced analytics solutions into business processes, driving innovation in methodologies and practices.• Establishing best practices for data management, quality, and governance to ensure the integrity and reliability of data science outputs.• Effectively communicating complex analytical concepts and the value of data science initiatives to stakeholders at all levels, including executive leadership.• Advocating for a culture of data-driven decision-making and continuous learning within the organization.
Your Profile:• 7 or more years of experience in data science and analytics, with a proven track record of leading successful data science projects.• Proficiency of programming languages, including Python and SQL, along with advanced libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow or Pytorch.• Possess a deep understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning, predictive modeling, and advanced algorithmic problem-solving.• Showcase extensive experience in data visualization and interpretation, translating complex results into actionable insights.• Exhibit leadership experience with the ability to inspire, guide, and mentor team members to achieve exceptional results.• Possess technical domain knowledge in cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) or big data technologies (Spark).• Have exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with fluency in English and the ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
