Are you ready to play a central role in powering a global enterprise? As a Data Governance Manager, you will be responsible for the fitness and use of one or more master data dimensions.
Working within the GBS Data Office (GDO) and a wider community of HR data stewards & business users, you will maintain the quality and integrity of master data through the development and embedding of standards, education of users, and oversight of data management practices.
This role will focus on Workforce Master Data.
Accountabilities.
Your role will involve developing the Data governance framework, acting as SME for relevant master data objects to data design leads, data stewards, project teams and users.
You will provide oversight and direction for the business users, data stewards and data management teams to ensure standards are embedded and followed.
You will also provide training, mentoring and support on data standards to business users, data stewards, other participants in the data governance community.
Essential Skills/Experience.
* Proven experience of working with Workforce master data and systems (Workday, Fieldglass, Utmost/Beeline).
* Experience in the definition, maintenance and use of HR master data * Strong engagement, communication and stakeholder management skills, including excellent organisational, presentation and influencing skills * A 'Can do' attitude to understanding data issues, the impact and proactively driving change.
* High level of proficiency with common business applications (Excel, Visio, Word, PowerPoint & SAP business user) Desirable Skills/Experience.
* Knowledge of Workday & other HR software * Some understanding of HR data reporting and planning * Experience of working in a global organisation with complex/geographical context * Pharmaceutical business awareness/business domain knowledge When we put diverse teams in the same room, we unleash bold thinking with the power to inspire life-changing medicines.
