We’re currently partnering with an amazing Startup company in the health sector and looking for a Data Engineer Python + SQL + DBT to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities.
• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL pipelines to process large-scale data efficiently.
• Design and implement data models and transformations using DBT.
• Work with AWS services to build scalable and secure data infrastructure.
• Implement data ingestion and streaming solutions leveraging Spark and Kafka.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and enhance existing data workflows to improve performance and reliability.
• Ensure data security, governance, and compliance best practices are followed.
• Document processes, workflows, and technical decisions to support knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements.
• Strong experience with ETL processes and data pipeline development.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data processing and automation.
• Hands-on experience with DBT for data modeling and transformations.
• Experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
• Knowledge of distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark.
• Familiarity with real-time data streaming technologies like Kafka.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality, and best practices in data engineering.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, remote environment.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
