We are looking for a Cloud Engineer for a remote project in Portugal.
What are we looking for? - Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science or similar; - 2+ years of experience in software development or operations; - 2+ years of experience in cloud platform (AWS or Azure or hybrid Cloud Environments); - Experience with Kubernetes/Docker; - Expertise in DevOps and CI/CD implementation; - Advanced knowledge of best practices and experience in code-based configuration, IaC, load-balancing, auto-scaling, monitoring, alerting, networking and problem-solving in a cloud environment; - Demonstrated ability to design and implement automation infrastructure solutions; - Proficient in any programming language, but be comfortable with learning a new language (Golang); - Available for a 24x7 shift rotation on as needed basis; - Fluency in English.
What are the main responsibilities? - Develop tools and infrastructure to deploy, monitor and manage production and non-productions services; - Ensure delivered solutions are optimized for ease of use, reusability and scalability; - Ensure implementations and development activities always lead towards enriching knowledge base documentation, design details, usage, maintenance, configuration and deployment notes.
