Position Description.

Reliability Clearance or eligible for Reliability Clearance (5+ years residing in Canada) Location.
Ottawa, ON Remote.
No Relocation.
No CGI is looking for an Analytics Architect with extensive AI, Data & expertise This position is ideal for someone who is looking to take on a challenging role in delivering complex modern AI & and analytic solutions with extensive experience in all aspects of AI, analytics, and data.
You will lead technical implementation, including technical design, specific enterprise cloud & data programs and other initiatives.
You will be hands–on crafting AI, data, & analytics patterns with a strong focus on enabling analytics and machine learning ops, DataOps, DevOps, as well as modernizing and migrating workloads.
You will also support clients in early-stage architecture and visioning sessions to support crafting strategies and roadmaps.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
We help our clients with numerous types of projects covering a variety of different business scenarios including supporting data for machine learning, analytics, business intelligence, data governance.
The Analytics Architect will have the skills to communicate and deliver modern analytic solutions to solve different business problem while building close relationships with both client and CGI team members.
•Provide technical direction to team members to develop- test and implement the solution as per the design and within the specified timelines •Work across a myriad of technology stacks in Azure, AWS, and GCP •Deliver against the strategic roadmap for AI and Analytics architectures •Lead client engagements •Conduct testing and data reviews to evaluate the effectiveness of current security and operational measures •Authoring and peer review of detailed design documentation- inclusive of vendor best practices •Ensure best practices and patterns are being implemented for Ai & analytic solutions •Experienced in automated orchestration and configuration management •Coordinate with client teams & engineering teams and other stakeholders to build- monitor- and maintain a high-performance cloud infrastructure via automation in both production and non-production environments •Support client development opportunities and workshops Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
•Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Masters preferred •10+ Years’ Experience – at least 5 years in a modern Solution Architecture and Engineering lead role •10+ years Data & Analytics experience crossing in multiple industries •Extensive hands-on experience with enterprise scale IoT analytic initiatives •Extensive hands-on Azure design and architecture experience including key Azure platform and infrastructure services •Experience working within container orchestration solutions such as big query- Docker- Kubernetes- Docker- EKS and/or ECS •Strong hands-on expertise in implementing and architecting scalable cloud solution •Strong experience with IaaS platform capabilities and services (Professional cloud certifications preferred) •Experience working within an automated CI/CD pipeline for release development- testing- remediation- and deployment •Experience with vulnerability management tools and data to ensure provisioning of secure- patched resources •Experience with agile •Expertise in at least one primary scripting language •Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment •Effective documentation skills including technical diagrams and written descriptions •Ability to work independently and as part of a team with professional attitude and demeanor •Critical thinking and ability to balance environmental requirements with mission need Skills.
