ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST - IFRS

Sobre o nosso cliente We are recruiting a Senior Accountant with strong knowledge of IFRS for a Multinational in the transport sector.
Descrição Develops and enhance of accounting policies and procedures to align with IFRS; Implements best practices and ensure consistent adherence to IFRS guidelines across Group; Performs technical reviews on Annual/Quarterly Financial Statements at Group and Standalone level; Provides technical opinions on accounting matters; Reviews and updates internal working papers to comply with IFRS requirements; Attend audit meetings for discussion of technical matters (if required); Preparation of Annual/Quarterly Financial Statements (consolidated at Group level); Supports the monthly closing and consolidation process by working closely with the Senior Accounting Manager; Ensures that accounting records are maintained and are in accordance with corporate and accounting standards (IFRS); Develops and implement accounting procedures to optimize the workflow of the department, maintaining and strengthening internal controls; Increase productivity by identify opportunities and proposing/developing automated reporting tools/systems.
Perfil ideal Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Business Administration or a related field; Extensive experience (4+ years) working in a technical accounting role with a focus on IFRS compliance, preferably in "Big Four" environment; Experience with consolidation reporting; Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office, namely, strong Excel skills, Word, PowerPoint and Power BI); In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and their practical application in a business context; Proficiency in English, both written and spoken (mandatory); In-depth knowledge of IFRS standards and their practical application in a business context; Excellent teamwork and communication skills; Methodical, accurate and detail conscious; Ability to work in a challenging environment; Problem solving and decision making; Prioritising, ability to manage time effectively; Believer in continual process improvement but able to jump in to handle ad-hoc demands as they occur.
