Leadership and Strategy
- Proposed, envisioned and led several strategic company projects such as designed, implemented and negotiated 2 new premium TV channels that addressed an opportunity in the adult market
- Directly supported the Board in several strategic company projects, as well as in the definition of the overall group strategy in a difficult market environment 
- Optimized and streamlined several corporate processes and procedures, obtaining clear and measurable results on ROI: cost savings, increased compliance, reduced fiscal exposure (Television premium channels and production and sale On demand video contents)
- Led a critical company restructuring, including downsizing, staff retention, contract renegotiation, vendor sourcing negotiation, adapting it to the new financial reality

New business and negotiation
- New TV contents creation according market trends with costs' decreasing, changing the paradigm of own content production  
- Increased the own content available in video on-demand platforms in the main tv players such as NOS, MEO, Vodafone and Nowo, increasing in 20% the monthly company income
- Created two new premium channels and introduced then in MEO and Vodafone platforms, increasing 25% the subscription area
- Restructured the company's channels contents, reaching the highest number of subscribers ever and achieving the leadership against international competition
- Developed two new own digital platforms' (web and mobile) and social media corporate profiles
- New partnerships in order to distribute international exclusive content in Portugal, in VOD, DVD and digital platforms

I combine deep knowledge and marketing tools in all media and communication areas and stakeholders, with a transversal knowledge in strategic, analytic and operational areas.   

Having started in 2000 as a journalist in a monthly magazine, participated in the digital transformation process and working in television in the last years, I built a solid professional network that allows me to be extremely updated about media environment, needs and pipeline trends, either in traditional media or in this exciting new digital era. 

Leading people and budgets for more than 10 years, I strive to develop strong and motivated teams and companies with my holistic perspective, accuracy, focus and vision, believing that winner companies are made of excellent and committed professionals.

With a career spanning of more than 15 years in the media industry, in which I reached top positions as editor in chief, and General Direction managing, it's still my passion for brands, creativity, new business, new contents, strategy and sports, that defines me.
