In Feb 2016 i was selected for a postdoctoral fellowship in the LAQV-FCT/UNL under the STEREO+project "Gulbenkian Qualification of the New Generations". In this project a software (NavMol) was being developed for blind users to process chemical structures. My job was to prepare manuals, tutorials and test blind users for validation of the program (http://www.molinsight.net/).
 In October 2016 I started a new postdoctoral fellowship where developments in the reactivity of 2-methylimidazolium salts were intended. From these work new compounds of chemical and medicinal interest were obtained.
In 2018, I accepted a Post-Doc Fellowship in collaboration with the pharmaceutical company Hovione Farmaciencia SA (Jan 2018-July 2018). This research grant that counts on my background to develop cleaner and innovative synthetic routes to industrially produce active pharmaceutical ingredients.
