TECHNICAL PROGRAM MANAGER

Position Description.
This role is hybrid and requires you to be in our downtown Toronto office (250 Yonge Street) 2-3 times per week - subject to change at any time.
Your future duties and responsibilities.
• Lead assigned Projects from Project initiation to implementation to achieve desired business results.
• Drives complex initiatives by aligning dependencies across ecosystem, manages risk and delivery from end-to-end perspective • Provides inputs to Solution architecture and guide the technical leads during design phase • Directs, manages and coordinates team members including other project manages, business and technology resource.
• Acts as prime subject matter expert for technology related projects, heavy on application side • Manages overall project budget.
Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues • Provides guidance to the project sponsor on the implementation and sustainment of projects, resulting in successful project outcomes • Manages all aspects of the Project lifecycle including business, operational and technology deliverables.
• Understands project interdependencies and demonstrates critical thinking that proactively identifies projects risks and establishes effective risk mitigation from the outset.
• Demonstrated stakeholder partnership that involves effective communication with the project sponsor, gains and builds trust and rapport.
Required qualifications to be successful in this role.
• 12+ Years of relevant experience and/or certification in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience • Technical Project management experience – 6 to 8 years • Able to navigates challenging situations effectively • Able to apply project management methodologies or approaches • Able to manage project and business risks, including project interdependencies • Able to resolve project issues effectively • Seasons professional with a combination of education, experience and industry knowledge #LI-MC1 Skills.
