As a Microstrategy Consultant, you will need a combination of business focus, analytical and problem solving skills as well as programming experience to be able to analyse large data sets of information with the appropriate tools and techniques in order to deliver insightful and actionable information in an impactful way.
The mission of the consultant is to help the finance reporting factory to gradually migrate the enterprise performance reports and dashboards written in SAP BO4.
“Webi” or “Analysis for Office” to Microstrategy reports/dashboards.
Responsibilities.
Responsible for the migration of the AS IS enterprise performance reports written in SAP BO4.
Business Intelligence Suite to Microstrategy reports and/or dashboards Analyze the AS IS reports and dashboards written in SAP BO4.
in close collaboration with the reporting experts of the reporting factory in order to understand the business requirements of the reports or dashboards to be migrated Perform the user acceptance testing of the reports migrated Drive and challenge the timelines and team resources for the change management programs defined in close collaboration with the stakeholders in finance management control and IT Data Train the report management users to work efficiently with the new reports/dashboards Train the other team members of the finance reporting factory team by involving them in MicroStrategy report creation ‌ Competences Required.
Strong communicatio n and interpersonal skills to discuss with a variety of stakeholders (Finance reporting factory and IT Data) Capable to understand fast the business requirements of a BI reverse engineering program More than 3 years of experience with the BI Tool Microstrategy and its semantic layer Experience with SAP BO Business Intelligence Suite (SAP BO4.
